Description
Construction of a 33 000 sq. ft. integrated centre regrouping the administrative spaces and services for the MTQ and CGER employees, as well as an extensive garage, a mechanical shop and a salt storage unit with a 2 000 ton capacity. The project qualified for LEED Silver building certification from the Canada Green Building Council as required by the specifications. Ecological characteristics include the installation of a geothermal heating / cooling system featuring fourteen (14) 500-ft wells; radiant flooring; a green roof; a solar wall and a grey water recycling system.
